Thanks to the dedicated effort of Hong Kong’s pearl suppliers in business development and expansion over the last two decades, Hong Kong has successfully established itself as an international pearl trading hub.

Among all the districts in Hong Kong, Tsim Sha Tsui (TST) is particularly well-known as there are lots of pearl companies located in this famous shopping hotspot. Every year, hundreds tons of pearls re-export in Hong Kong, which in turn boost the number of Hong Kong pearl companies, as well as their scale of operations. These outstanding pearl companies endeavor to provide a comfortable and highly effective sourcing environment with stylish interior decorations, superb lightings and other modernized facilities.

Innovation and creativity is the biggest driving force for the growth of Hong Kong pearl companies. To outperform those unsuccessful trade shows and to have continuous business innovation in the pearl industry, Hong Kong Pearl Association and Tahitian Pearl Association Hong Kong have joined forces to organize an open-day and sale promotion event in June & September 2009.

This promotion event will take place within the original location of each company, saving time for travel and conforming to environmental concerns. With the densely located number of pearl suppliers and their strong alliance, the event is expected to achieve great success.
